Innovation Begins With Listening
Speaker: Chelsea Haring, Chief Operations Officer and Higher Education Strategist, Switchboard

Innovation begins with listening. Career services has been rocked with disruption and change over the past decade; many campuses have restructured or are actively reimagining how they connect college to career. In other cases, teams have weathered years of change initiatives, yet are still facing similar challenges. What if institutions invested in their career services team’s ability to listen to the students who don’t show up? Could the stories from those students help to design relevant services from a place of empathy as well as better communicate that new perspective?
